Afrikan people and European Holidays: A Mental Genocide, Book 2

In this volume, Barashango examines the historical and psychological impacts of European holidays—such as the Fourth of July and Easter—on African-descended communities. He argues that these celebrations perpetuate a form of "mental genocide" by eroding African cultural identities and promoting values that are alien to Black heritage. The text serves as both a critique of cultural assimilation and a call for the reclamation of African traditions and consciousness.
